Air3 Radio is Stirling University’s Student Radio Station, run by students, for students. We broadcast online every day, seven days a week during the academic year, with shows ranging from New Music, to Sports, to unique shows every semester crafted by the students!

As the oldest student radio station in Scotland, we are proud to deliver meticulously planned and well prepared shows, as well as off-the-wall bits of students just having fun. We have also recently expanded to bring you a brand new podcasting studio, where students can book out slots to record podcasts, radio dramas and more at professional standard. Air3 Radio lets your creativity run free!

Since the beginning of the 2023-2024 academic semester. We have had a large increase in members and now have a full committee running the station. We now have shows running every single day, and continue to meet weekly to make sure the station is the best it can be!

On the 2nd December 2023, we hosted our first DJ night as a fundraiser to keep our station running. ‘FREQUENCY’ featured Radio members playing tunes at Slanj-a-va for a whole night of boogying. The night was a huge success, selling over 60 tickets and raising over £350 to go towards keeping the station running for another year, as well as any other equipment we may need. We are hoping to host another DJ night in 2024 following the success of the first one.
